Inside Out Films is a non-profit documentary film company, dedicated to exploring salient, controversial and emotional issues pertinent to our times.  The San Francisco-based company, founded by filmmaker, writer and educator Michelle Blair, is currently working on its second documentary.

Released in 2002, the award-winning Inside Out: Stories of Bulimia was the flagship film for Inside Out Films. It grapples with the difficult issue of bulimia, and examines how the eating disorder crosses class, race, age, gender and sexuality boundaries

      Inventing Tradition: New Jewish Performance

Currently in production, Inventing Tradition: New Jewish Performance focuses on new modes of performance in the Jewish community. The film follows four artists as they rediscover and redefine what it means to be a Jewish performer in the modern era.
